रोगानुत्पत्तिकर चिकित्सा (Preventive Treatment)

1. रोगानुत्पत्तिकर चिकित्सा (Preventive Treatment)

Aim: To maintain health and prevent diseases (Swasthasya Swasthya Rakshanam).

Methods:

  1. स्वस्थवृत्त पालन (Maintenance of Healthy Regimens)
  • दिनचर्या (Daily Routine):
    • Waking up during Brahma Muhurta, oral hygiene (Dantadhavana, Jihvanirlekhana), Anjana (collyrium), Abhyanga (oil massage), exercise, proper clothing, etc.
  • रात्रिचर्या (Night Routine):
    • Avoiding late-night eating, excessive study, travel, and sexual activity during evening (Sandhyakala).
  • ऋतुचर्या (Seasonal Regimen):
    • Following diet and lifestyle adjustments according to seasons (Hemanta, Shishira, Vasanta, Grishma, Varsha, Sharad) to balance doshas.
  • योग (Yoga Practices):
    • Asana, Pranayama, Dhyana for physical and mental well-being.
  1. सद्वृत्त पालन (Ethical Conduct)
  • Following righteous behavior (Achara Rasayana) and avoiding sinful acts (Paapa Karma).
  1. रसायन & वाजीकरण (Rejuvenation & Aphrodisiac Therapies)
  • Use of Rasayana (rejuvenators) and Vajikarana (aphrodisiacs) to enhance immunity and vitality.

2. रोगप्रशमन चिकित्सा (Curative Treatment)

Aim: To cure diseases (Aturasya Vikara Prashamanam) by restoring Dosha-Dhatu Samyata (balance of doshas and tissues).

Methods:

  • Eliminates aggravated doshas from the body:
